Dragon Ball may have saved the universe a few times, but he was also an absent father. Even though he was dead, he left his son Gohan to be trained by Piccolo. When Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero comes out next month, the two bonds will be tested.
The film will focus on Gohan and Piccolo saving the world while Goku and Vegeta continue their training elsewhere in the universe. It doesn't explain a lot, but it looks pretty.
According to the official synopsis, the Red Ribbon Army was destroyed by Son Goku. The people who carry on its spirit have created the ultimateAndroids. The twoAndroids are called Super Heroes. The New Red Ribbon Army begins to attack Piccolo and Gohan. It is time to awaken, Super Hero.
The Red Ribbon Army was destroyed by Goku in Dragon Ball before the Z, which was more of a comedy than a serious story. In Dragon Ball Z, the most powerful of the killer androids had to be put down by Gohan when he was a child. The entire military force once had its collective ass kicked by a small child, so they probably have a bit of a grudge.
The movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will be released in August.
