Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch were disqualified from Sunday's M&M's Fan Appreciation 400 after failing post-race inspection, which resulted in ChaseElliott being declared the winner.

Bob Pockrass @bobpockrassAccording to my friends at racing insights, the last Cup DQ was April 17, 1960 at Wilson Speedway when Emanual Zervakes won but was DQ'd for an oversized gas tank and Joe Weathery was awarded the victory.
It's his fourth win of the season and third in the last five races. Since the beginning of the year, he has not finished below second in any race.
After the disqualifications, second place went to Tyler Reddick, while third place was taken by Daniel Suarez.
The equipment violation for both cars was the reason why Hamlin and Busch were disqualified.

Jeff Gluck @jeff_gluckSo...here's my take. I don't think that was an intentional takeout. That to me looked like Hamlin was going to race the shit out of Chastain and not give any room. Chastain wasn't going to back down. But I don't think that was Hamlin going "here's my payback."
Give me your take.
The leader after the restart was Hamlin. The Reddicks were in third place. Hamlin was able to concentrate on the finish after the cautions.
Jordan Bianchi @Jordan_BianchiDenny Hamlin told he's "good by two" and just needs to focus on winning this race.
