The 100m hurdles world record was set by Nigeria's Tobi Amusan in the semi-finals of the World Championships.
On the final day of competition in Eugene, the 25-year-old ran a new African record of 12.12 seconds.
Amusan's time is better than the 12.20 seconds set by American Kendra Harrison.

Cindy Sember qualified for the final with a new British record of 12.50, one hundredth of a second ahead of her sister Tiffany.
There were four national records run in the semi-finals with seven athletes equalling or breaking their personal bests.
It was a crazy race. I thought I was running slowly. Sember said that Tobi was amazing.
