Kurt Busch wasn't cleared by NASCAR's medical staff to compete in Sunday's race at Long POND, and he was replaced by 19-year-old Ty Gibbs.
The 43-year-old Busch, who has indicated next season will be his last in NASCAR, suffered from concussion-like symptoms after a hit during Saturday's qualifications.

The 2004 series champion is in his first season driving for a team co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin. On Saturday, his car spun and slammed into the SAFE barriers.
The grandson of a former football coach was selected to make his debut. The second place finish in the race was good for third place in the points table.
