Virginia "Ginni" Thomas, the wife of conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, could be forced to testify about her role in the insurrection on January 6, according to Rep. Liz Cheney.

In an interview with CNN on Sunday, the Wyoming Republican said that the committee is talking to the attorneys of the woman.

The committee is prepared to issue a subpoena if she doesn't come in voluntarily. I hope it doesn't end up that way. I hope she comes in willingly.

It is important for us to talk to her.

Thomas is one of the people that the congressional committee wants to speak to. NBC News and other outlets obtained a series of text messages that Thomas reportedly sent to former President Donald Trump's chief of staff MarkMeadows backing the false claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

The president's election victory was overturned by Thomas.

News outlets projected Biden as the winner of the election, and Thomas wrote to Mark to help him stand firm. Biden and the Left are attempting the greatest heist of our history.

Cheney and the rest of the committee have tried to get other people with access to the White House to testify about the events of January 6.

After a trial in Washington, D.C., Steve Bannon was found guilty of two counts of contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena.
