Scorecard |
The series between England and South Africa is tied at one game each.
There were two lengthy rain delays that forced the abandonment of the game at the end of the day.
The game was delayed for an hour and 50 minutes after South Africa won the toss.
The deciding game of the series was abandoned at 14:35 after play resumed for just 6.5 overs.
South Africa were 159-2 when the second rain came, with opener de Kock making 92 from 76 balls.
The opener rode his luck initially, twice edging through the vacant slip cordon, but played some beautiful cover drives and reverse sweeps as he moved towards his 18th century.
Janneman Malan and Rassie van der Dussen were both out.
Van der Dussen was caught on the square leg boundary off Adil Rashid after Malan miscued Willey.
This can be a difficult ground to defend at times according to England's captain. The game was pretty even.
It would have been nice to have a full game.
The first match of the T20 series will take place at the Seat Unique Stadium in Bristol on Wednesday night and will be broadcast on both the iPlayer and the BBC Two channel.
England will play Australia after the T20 World Cup.
