Dave Chappelle Opens for Kevin Hart and Chris Rock at Madison Square Garden

Chris Rock and Kevin Hart got a warm up from Dave Chappelle on Saturday night.

It was a big surprise to everyone at the Garden. Dave came out with a cig and no introduction. The crowd ate it up after he talked about cancel culture.

The venue that canceled his performance was obliquely referred to. "Despite what you may have read about in the news, I'm okay, and I appreciate the support," Dave said.

He was on the stage for a short time, but it was actually an opening set that lasted more than 20 minutes. Dave said his bodyguards were "sliding all over the place like at a bowling alley" because they wore dress shoes.

He was angry that news outlets called the attack an "alleged" one.

"Not that he should die, but his ass should itch for four to six weeks if he gets monkeypox in prison," Dave said.

Chris Rock and Kevin Hart both referred to Will Smith multiple times. Chris said anyone who says words hurt has never been hit in the face.

There was a contest between Kevin and Dave over who was the G.O.A.T. The worst night of the goat's life was this one.
