Gaetz made fun of the physical appearance of women who are against the overturn of the abortion law.

Gaetz referred to pro-choice women at rallies as "disgusting" and "odious" while speaking to college students.

Gaetz said that ugly women shouldn't be worried about abortion access.

He wanted to know why the women with the least chance of getting pregnant are the ones most concerned about having abortions.

Gaetz said that pro-choice women wouldn't want to have a baby if they looked like a thumb.

The congressman derided women who are "5-foot-2 and 350 pounds" and marched in protests against the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the case that legalized abortion.

He asked if he would march. You look weak compared to the legal reasoning behind the abortion law.

"They need to get up and march for an hour a day, swing those arms, and maybe mix in a salad," Gaetz said.

The speech was derided by a feminist media outlet.

The Justice Department is looking into whether Gaetz violated federal sex trafficking laws with a 17-year-old girl in 2019.

In May, Gaetz asked how many of the women who were protesting against abortion were over-educated and under-loved.

Insider reached out to Gaetz on Sunday but didn't hear back.
