According to Radio Free Europe, Hungarian Prime Minister Orbn said that his country's citizens don't want to fraternize with non- Europeans.
Orbn talked about an "unmixed Hungarian race" during his speech at the university. Europeans should not mix with non- Europeans according to him.
He said that they mix within Europe. He said that they don't want to be a mixed race.
The prime minister argued that the west was split in two.
He said that half of the countries are where Europeans and non- Europeans mix. He said those countries are no longer a nation. The Daily News Hungary reported that he pointed to Western Europe.
The countries where Europeans and non-Europeans mix are trying to change us to be like them.
He said that the west has moved to central Europe.
Orbn was re-elected for a fourth term in April and was endorsed by Donald Trump. Some American conservatives have praised him, but he is an authoritarian nationalist who dislikes immigrants.
Orbn talked about Russia's war against Ukraine and the US's role in it during his speech on Saturday.
The war can be ended only with peace talks between Russia and the US.
Orbn and the Hungarian Office of the Prime Minister did not reply immediately.
