for all mankind astronauts on mars.

The show is not a typical show. It is set in an alternate reality that is similar to ours, but has a big fork in the road that changed everything after it. The United States lost the space race to the Soviet Union. At the start of the second and third seasons, the filmmakers show a lot of newspaper headlines, TV clips, and more to show what happened between the seasons.

John Lennon was not dead. The Portland Trailblazers drafted Michael Jordan. Prince Charles wasn't married to Diana. That's things like that. Ben Nedivi revealed at San Diego Comic-Con that they wanted to have a change but were not able to do it. They wanted to show that Eric Stoltz was still the star of the movie.

After several weeks of production, producers didn't think the film was working with Stoltz in the role. The production was forced to scrap six weeks of filming after he was fired. Nedivi claims that the producers of For All Mankind couldn't get that in one of their clips. The legal department couldn't make a decision. This happened on the show back in 2010.

Ronald D. Moore is one of the show's other producers. The show has people landing on different planets, floating in zero gravity, and more.

There will be at least one more. Just weeks before the third season of For All Mankind ends, the show was renewed for a fourth season. When asked how far the show can go, producers said they originally wanted to make seven seasons of the show but would just love to catch up. We want to see what that event would have meant for our way of life. If each season is a decade, and season three is the 1990s, then season six could be the final one. There is still a lot of work to be done.

There is a stream on Apple TV+.
