Four years ago it was easy to forget that James was fired from the movie. There are three. When the first footage from the long-awaited sequel was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, it was more than just a reveal. It was a trip back in time. It was worth waiting for. The last time we left the group, they were still hanging with the guy. They are back on their own journeys. It's on the to-do list. It's also possible to meet Adam Warlock. The footage that was screened in Hall H is unlikely to be uploaded to the internet.
By the time of the third movie, the Ravagers are being lead by Gamora, who we see having a fun, banter-laden reunion with Peter Quill. In new footage screened to fans, we see a glimpse of a young baby Rocket Raccoon, who will play a major role in volume 3 as we explore his origins as the test subject of cruel experimentation on the planet Halfworld. In the comic, the security chief of the space station Knowhere is played by Maria Bakalova.
There is an all-gold, all-dazzling glimpse at Adam Warlock, played by Will Poulter, as well as a glimpse of the High Evolutionary, the person who transformed the Scarlet Witch and her brother into superpowered being. There is a picture of Iwoji in costume.
Wait, there is more to come. Several members of theGuardians jumped out of a ship onto a larger alien planet without their leader and sidekick. Each one of them is wearing a bright blue, green, red, orange, and yellow suit. Peter is trying to talk to Gamora about their past while they are on a mission. He asked if she would open herself up and she said no. That's right, quill. Is it Quill? Peter was told that they are on an open channel. They are all suitable embarrassment for him.
2 is a sequel to the movie, "Guardians of the GALAXY." 3 will be in theaters May 5,23.
