Donald Trump and his sycophants were pointed out by the brother of a late US Capitol police officer.

Ken Sicknick told reporter Kaitlan Collins that he was frustrated with the revelations from the committee hearing.

In an extraordinary January 9, 2021 text exchange between Trump's 2020 campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh and deputy campaign spokesman Matthew Wolking, Murtaugh remarked that it was "nonsense" that the president did not know about the death.

That is intolerable to me. He said a lot of things that were not true.

Officer Sicknick died on January 7, 2021.

He died of natural causes according to the medical examiner in Washington DC.

The question remains as to what Trump was doing after he ended his speech at the Ellipse and uploaded a video urging his supporters to leave the Capitol.

Ken Sicknick said that it was ridiculous that he didn't act for three hours. For the first time in a long time, I'm angry that he didn't do anything.

We should be focused on the fact that he started it all. He's at fault for not stopping it, but he's also at fault for getting his sycophants to follow his words. He is responsible for it happening in the first place.

Ken Sicknick said that Trump didn't care about the country.

He said that his existence in the White House had nothing to do with looking out for the best interests of the country.

What about the three hours? He could have decided to say something. I can't comprehend him not doing a thing to stop that because he was covering his rear end and making sure that he was in power. He was aware of what was happening minutes after his rally.

The officer's mother and brother joined Ken and Collins for the interview.

It was difficult for his family to find out more about what happened on the day he fought back insurrectionists who broke down the Capitol doors.

Gladys Sicknick said she thought it would get easier after almost two years, but it is getting harder and harder.

According to Craig Sicknick, Trump's behavior made a negative impact on the country.

He told Collins it was incredibly frustrating. We're a pretty good example of how to run things because the president represents the country. The last administration did not allow that to happen.

Officer Sicknick's partner, who did not appear in the latest CNN interview, supports the government's investigation.

When legislation creating a January 6 commission was being debated in the Senate last year, Garza went to Capitol Hill with Gladys Sicknick and a Capitol police officer to meet with Republicans who were against the bill. Nancy Pelosi created a select committee after the Senate killed the bipartisan bill.
