According to the FDA, Family Dollar is recalling hundreds of personal-care products.
More than 400 products are included in the voluntary recall. Between May 1, 2022, and June 10, 2022, the products were accidentally shipped out to stores around the country.
The FDA noted that the company has not received any customer complaints or reports of illness, but Dollar Tree did not respond to Insider's request to comment.
According to the FDA, Family Dollar asked affected stores to check their stock and to stop selling affected products.
If a customer purchases a recalled product, they can return it to their Family Dollar store for a full refund.
The company closed its Arkansas distribution center after federal investigators found live and dead animals there. More than 1,100 rodents were discovered during the FDA's fumigation.
Family Dollar temporarily closed hundreds of stores in response to the findings.
