The head of the World Health Organization declared monkeypox a global health emergency after a key medical panel failed to agree on the risk.
The director-general of the World Health Organization said on Saturday that there was an outbreak that had spread around the world quickly. The global monkeypox outbreak is considered a public health emergency by me.
The majority of cases occurred in males between the ages of 31 to 40, according to the WHO.
Monkeypox has mostly been confined to developing countries for years, but has recently spread to Europe and the US. A rash that starts on the face and spreads down the belly is caused by the pathogen. It can last for two weeks to a month and can be fatal.
