The end is coming quickly. It's all over. It's weird when a team is knocked out of a tournament, but it's not the first time. There were farewells when the sun set on Monday night and the media left. They had been here for two weeks, but they knew they might not come back. They could be. The Spanish national team traveled to England the next day to play England in the Euro 2022. They would be out if they lost and there wouldn't be any more sessions to attend. The chirpy security guard who had learned one Spanish line would not be seen again. Most people thought Spain would lose as well. Spain's players believed that a lot of people would be destroyed if they lost. It might have suited them. News, features, and a schedule are available on Euro 2022, which is live on Disney.

Patri said that England are favorites. It started to sound impossible after coach Vilda spoke so glowingly.
There were two nights later and they were closed now. They had done what no one else had done before and scored. In England, with six minutes left, there was a chance to reach the semifinals. They had taken England apart, not just because they were beating England, but also because they were.
"The way they had played, the way they came into the game, everyone was saying 'ooh, they're going to score five', and we played like that." They were given a bath.
They had taught the hosts how to bath.
On the pitch, I felt the nerves that they had: they didn't stop talking to each other, you could see them looking at each other, frustrated faces The people were down. No one else had taken them, that's why we took them. They were taken to the edge by us.
They took a break from it. Spain had begun to think. They could actually do this. Everyone would return after this journey was over. The optimism was gone but the nerves were still bad. The noise it had heard was bedlam. England threw everything they could at Spain. They were in dire need of something. Everyone was present. Time kept on even though the chances weren't quite happening.
Until it occurred.
One goal put England back in the game and took Spain out of it, as they were furious at what they thought was a foul on Paredes. Misa Rodriguez kicked a cooler on the sideline. When extra time came, another goal sent England through with a 2-1 victory. It was a single shot. It was no longer there. It's over. Just when they thought it might happen.
Something had been taken away and then there was a change of plans. No more hanging around here, flights to be booked. Many and many people are done.
There were tears as the Spain players walked down the tunnel. They couldn't do anything now, so they were talking about what had occurred. They were angry and numb. They were unable to digest it a couple of days later. Is that all for nothing? It feels like it but it is never really nothing. It happened too fast. It was so good but gone. Paredes was asked how she felt.
There wasn't a lot to say. The players gathered in the middle of the field. They were told by Vilda that he was proud of them. Some people left with tears in their eyes and others angry. The people bit their tongues. There was a lot to be proud of but it wasn't the right time. Germany andDenmark, two of the most accomplished teams there are, had completely changed their style to protect themselves from Spain, even though they had failed to impress in the group stage. That's saying a lot.
If you're good at keeping possession, opponents can't compete for the ball, and so you have more of it. Two people are needed to tango. Two to tactics is what it takes. It is less likely that you will mix it up when that happens. It is not easy at any level.
Spain's style is based on conviction, but it's not just philosophy for fun, it's the best way to win. Changing that style would improve results.
There's a beautiful game here. You can watch tournaments and teams.

It was possible that this was proof. They were Spain to the end. Maybe they were not. They didn't have a Plan B in the group stages, but once they got to the knockouts they scored three of their goals, including a penalty, and Bonmati suggested there was a moment when they stepped. They were able to see it so close that they tried to hold on.
Paredes said that they deserved more. A lot of players had no idea what was happening. It wasn't a perfect tournament and you couldn't help but wonder if Vilda's insistence that other teams were favorites might have had a negative effect. Vilda tried four different players there with Guijarro and Bonmati The role of the strikers was not the same. It was possible that chances had not been taken. She was no longer at full-back. They were caught too many times by Pernille Harder. They needed a Panos save to make it through the last part of the game.
When most people thought they would leave, they were in. Guijarro said to do something big you need luck. They had lost the Ballon d'Or winner and the runner-up before the tournament. You try to get rid of that. They conceded on the first day. The lead was given to Germany by a terrible mistake. They played well and lost. They thought it should have been a foul. They thought they were cheated. They did that to them.
England had scored 14 goals. There are fourteen They didn't concede any. This happened afterwards. England was made to suffer in order to survive.

Vilda said that Spain was the best team. We have a bright future. Hopefully the wind will help us next time.
Athenea del Castillo said they need to try again. She didn't want to retire if she didn't win a big tournament. She is only 24 years old and the evidence was that she wouldn't have to. This one wasn't included. They had lost in the analysis.
The performances of Bonmati and Caldentey had been amazing. One British commentator said that Bonmati was the best player he had ever seen, one who couldibble around you in a phone box. Everything was in her control.
She said that her father said she was like a police officer.
So what? She was the player of the match against both Finns and Danes. It has to be a winner for her to be again. She didn't ask about it.
There were two very good performances.
Someone said "very"
We're out in the quarters, she said quietly. I wanted to leave with the teamchampions.
One player said that she couldn't believe it when she got home. The captain Paredes was not sure what to say.
She said it was a lost chance.
The end is coming fast.
