John Fetterman continues to target Dr. Oz's tenuous connection to Pennsylvania by launching a petition to induct him into the New Jersey hall of fame

John Fetterman and Mehmet Oz are vying to represent the state of Pennsylvania in the US Senate.

Critics who are unsure if Oz lives in Pennsylvania are questioning his ties to the state. Oz's wife gave a tour of the couple's New Jersey mansion to People in January 2020.

Oz and his wife currently reside in Pennsylvania.

Fetterman accused Oz of filming a video from his New Jersey home. Nicole LaValle, better known as Snooki, was enlisted by Fetterman to poke fun at Oz about his connection to the state.

Oz posted a "Little Miss" meme on social media that said Fetterman "never leaves the basement."

According to the site, Fetterman's petition was created to honor Dr. Oz's New Jersey roots.

The website says that Dr. Oz is proud to be from Jersey.

The US Constitution requires a senator to be a resident of the state in which they are elected.

Donald Trump supported Oz. The Republican candidate and Fetterman are going to face off in November.

Fetterman was shown to be ahead of Oz.

Fetterman's and Oz's campaigns did not reply immediately.
