When training camp opens next week, the Baltimore Ravens will be missing six players.

The team has placed several players on the physically unable to perform list.

All of the players are coming off injuries. During the same practice session on Sept. 9, both Peters andEdwards were injured. In the Ravens' preseason finale against Washington, Dobbins tore his knee.

Stanley injured his ankle in the season opener and was shut down. He had an operation in October. In Week 8 of the 2020 season, the injury happened.

In Baltimore's final game of the season on January 9th, Bowser tore his achilles. He broke his foot in practice.

The injuries paint a picture of how bad things were for the team.

According to Football Outsiders, Baltimore had the worst injury luck of any team in 20 years.

Lamar Jackson and Marlon Humphrey both missed five games in the same year.

When John Harbaugh spoke to reporters last month, he wasn't sure when some of the injured players would be back on the field.

They're all on schedule, but what is the schedule? Harbaugh made a statement. It's difficult to say what the schedule really is with the knee injuries. If you talk to J.K., he's the starting running back today, and he should have been practicing today, but he's got work to do still." Both of them are doing well.

The ankle ofRonnie is looking good. He's been working on getting in the best shape of his life so that he can play football.

Dobbins was going to have a big season. He averaged six yards per carry as a first year running back. He was set to become the top running back.

Jackson was the team's leader in rushing with 767 yards, and the other two running backs combined for over one thousand yards and 11 touchdown runs.

The Ravens lost their final six games last season, including all five without Jackson, after he injured his ankle in Week 14.
