The massive show is coming soon, but a lot of details around the plot and footage have not been made public. Prime Video just released a trailer for a movie at the San Diego Comic-Con in the year 2022.
The three-minute trailer is the longest look at the series to date. Middle-earth and familiar creatures from the film series are included in the footage. The Rings of Power takes place thousands of years before the events in The Lord of the Rings. The rise of the Dark Lord Sauron is covered in the series.
The Rings of Power has an ensemble cast that includes Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Mriel, Robert Aramayo as Elrond, and Nazanin Boniadi asBronwyn. Owain Arthur, Benjamin Walker, Sophia Nomvete, ISMAel Cruz Crdova, Tyroe Muhafidin, Maxim Baldry, Daniel Wayman, Charles Edwards, and Markella Kavenagh are all in the ensemble.
The first two episodes of The Rings of Power will be directed by J. A. Bayona. If The Rings of Power surpasses $1 billion, it will be the most expensive television show of all time.
