Steve Bannon was found guilty of contempt of Congress for ignoring subpoenas from the House select committee.
The jury found Bannon guilty on two counts of contempt of Congress, which carries a minimum sentence of 30 days behind bars and fines of up to $100,000.
The judge acquitted Bannon after his team rested their case without calling any defense witnesses.
During closing arguments, the assistant U.S. attorney said that the subpoenas were straightforward and that the person who blew them off was Steve Bannon.

The Daily Mail reported that after the House issued his subpoenas, he said he stood with Trump and the constitution.
He bragged about his own role in the hearings and has been an unofficial adviser to Trump for years.
He has told Trump supporters that the committee is after them.
