What can you do to make sure a club legend comes back?

Nacional fans were linked with a move to sign Luis Suarez. Around 20,000 of them wore masks.

The player is a free agent after his contract expired at the end of the year.

The former Liverpool and Barcelona striker has reportedly been offered to German side Borussia Dortmund.

According to reports in his homeland, he is going to return to where it all started. It is understood that a short-term deal is in the works.

He made his professional debut for Nacional at the age of 18 and helped them win the league title.

On Thursday, officials from the Nacional told a local journalist that Suarez would return to the club within 48 hours.

The club then tweeted 'what do you say wizard?' with a picture of a sign reading #SuarezANacional (Suarez to Nacional) being held by a statue of tango singer-songwriter Carlos Gardel, which is inside their Gran Parque Central stadium.

Fans of the player were encouraged to show how much they wanted him to come back.

In a few hours, the large quantity of Suarez masks were produced and another 15,000 sheets reading #SuarezANacional, to be displayed at their Primera Division home game against Cerrito.

More than 20,000 fans attended the event and the masks and signs were given to them as they entered the Gran Parque Central.

In the ninth minute, fans wore the number Suarez wore while playing for Barcelona and Atleti and chanted "Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole, Lucho, Lucho"

Imagine if this is how Nacional fans will react when he signs.
