The House committee investigating the Capitol riot showed a series of video clips of Donald Trump's behavior.

The video from January 7 last year was shown during the public hearing on Thursday.

The video shows Trump taking more than 10 seconds to adjust his posture and facial expression after being told to do so by the camera.

This was one of many takes Trump took to record his address. After the first pause, Trump seemed to signal for a redo.

In the second video shown by the panel, Trump stopped in the middle of recording after seeming to struggle with his statements about the riots.

The phrase "you broke the law" was displayed on the teleprompter at the time.

He said in the clip that he would pay.

The former president was angry after failing to say "defiled" in the video.

The Capitol hasDemonstraters who have disobeyed the seat. "I said that." I am not able to see it very well. It's ok. I will do this. I am going to do this. It's time to go.

In the fourth clip played by the panel, Trump paused and debated the language with his daughter. He wouldn't say that the election is over.

Two clips of Trump struggling to make it through a speech in the Rose Garden were shown. According to testimonies from former Trump staffers, Trump went off-script when he asked the Capitol protesters to leave.

The hypocrisy of the attacks by Trump and other right-wing figures on President Joe Biden's own gaffes is underscored by the videos of Trump struggling to read from a teleprompter.

Trump has insulted Biden's mental faculties with his campaign ads, calling him "sleepy Joe" and accusing him of using performance- enhancing drugs on the campaign trail.

The testimony of several former Trump staffers has been played by the January 6 committee.

Cassidy Hutchinson testified that Trump threw his lunch against the wall because he was angry. After his request to visit the Capitol was denied, Trump had a physical altercation with a Secret Service agent.

Trump said that it would have been difficult for him to attack a Secret Service agent because they can lift 350 pounds.
