  • The Z Flip 4 is expected to bring a larger battery capacity and higher storage options.

The company will unveil its next foldable phones at the event. While we're excited to see what the official announcement brings, one leaker claims to already know the price of the new device, suggesting a small increase over the previous one.

The upcoming foldable will cost 1,080 in Europe, according to a leaker. The price of the flip 3 is 1,049, which is a small increase. Every cent matters because of the high price of the foldables.

The 512GB version of the device is said to arrive at 1,280.

It's not clear what would lead to a price hike, but it could be a combination of factors.

There will be no significant aesthetic changes when the Z flip arrives. The phone will likely have the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chipset, which will give it a performance and efficiency boost over its competitors. Prospective buyers will appreciate the larger battery, which is rumored to be 3,700 mAh.

We'll have to wait for the official announcement to get pricing details for the Z Fold 4, but given the rumored price increase of the flip, one would assume that it will be the same.

The Z flip 4 is expected to be announced on August 10. Fans will still pick up its upcoming devices even if the price increase is not enough. Reservations are still open for the next generation of phones.
