The January 6 committee revealed Thursday night that at a time when advisors were warning Trump his Cabinet was considering removing him from office, Donald Trump refused to say the election was over.

At one point, the committee played raw footage of Trump going through numerous takes to come up with his final video, but he insisted that Congress had certified the results.

In the final version of the video, Trump said a new administration will be inaugurated on January 20th.

At one point, Trump took the word "yesterday" out of the address, saying it was a hard word for him.

According to CNN, Trump took about an hour to record the video.

Trump doesn't want to say the election is over. I would like to say that Congress has certified the results, but not say that the election is over.

The committee hearing on January 6 focused on the 186 minutes between the conclusion of Trump's speech on the Ellipse and the riots. According to the revelations, Trump placed calls to senators to urge them to delay certifying the election.

The next hearing will be in September.
