  • Facebook is rolling out a new feed to display content in chronological order.
  • This new feed can be filtered to show content from friends, groups, pages, and more.
  • The main home page tab is now named "Home" and continues to show suggested posts.

Users will be given more control over their experience on the app when some changes are made to Facebook's feeds.

A new "Feeds" tab is being introduced by Meta. The new tab will display content in chronological order, which will allow you to see posts from friends and pages you follow.

The CEO of Meta gave a demo of the new tab. He says that one of the most requested features is to make sure people don't miss friends' posts. The Feeds tab will show posts from your friends, groups, Pages, and more in chronological order.

He says the feed will allow you to control your experience further. A Favorites list will allow users to include people they care about the most.

If this sounds familiar, it's because Meta introduced a similar feature for the photo sharing service. The photo-sharing app allows users to switch their feed to only view content from accounts they're following, or a chronological Favorites feed.

The new Feeds tab on Facebook won't include suggested posts but will show ads.

Meta says that the new Feeds tab should arrive globally over the next week. Users on both platforms will be able to personalize their navigation bars if they want to, but the navigation bar where it appears can change based on what the user engages with most.

The main page will be renamed Home as a result of the new Feeds roll out.
