The House Republican Conference publicly attacked Sarah Matthews, former deputy press secretary in the Trump White House, for testifying before the January 6 Committee.
"Just another liar and pawn in Pelosi's witch-hunt," House Republicans said during the hearing.
The public uproar caused the account to be deleted.
The former White House communications director took a shot at the House GOP chair.
The official House GOP account is being used to make fun of a fellow Republican woman who testified before Congress. Shameful, that's what I said, by the way. She later said that she was happy the tweets was taken down.
She testified about what she saw on January 6. Trump sent a green light to those attacking the Capitol, according to MSNBC's Chris Matthews.
