The January 6 committee played testimony from an official who said that they worked out a plan for him to evade rioters after hearing a lot of yelling and disturbing messages on the radio.

The committee played a radio communication in which an agent said that if they lost any time, they might lose the ability to leave.

Pat Cipollone, a former White House counsel, testified in a deposition that he thought the chants of "hang Mike Pence" were terrible.

The committee inquired about Donald Trump's response.

The August hearing is the final one from the January 6 committee. The 187 minutes between the conclusion of Trump's speech and the start of the riot is the focus. In September, more hearings will be held.
