It's not likely that Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant will join the Golden State Warriors.
Warriors general manager Bob Myers told Mark Medina of NBA.com that he's satisfied with his roster coming off the team's fourth championship in eight years, and he doesn't anticipate any major changes.
"I like our team and where it's at," he added. I want to let the guys do it again.
The landscape of the NBA at the time was changed by the arrival of KD. A core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green made up an offensive powerhouse that dominated the league.
In three years on the team, KD helped lead Golden State to three consecutive NBA finals appearances and two titles. The team's chance at a three-peat was derailed by his injury. He decided to join the Nets that summer.
The pieces are in place for the Warriors to return to greatness next year. Curry, Thompson and Green all had injuries. Myers doesn't want to part with Andrew and Jordan in order to bring in a star.
The group is a good one. We'refortunate. It's going to be fun to watch. Last year, we were hunting. I didn't think we would be back to being hunted. We won't know until we see it. I believe we can deal with it.

We have to stay healthy and keep most of it together. We made it last year, but I didn't think it would happen. I do the same thing as you do. We're going to see what happens.
