There is an upcoming live-action film set in the fantasy universe. A new trailer for the movie, which has the somewhat unwieldy name of D&D: Honor Among Thieves, kicked off San Diego Comic-Con, showing off a film that seems to jump between serious fantasy epic and lighthearted action comedy.
Things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people in the setup of the movie. The film's poster goes all-in on the "dragons" part of the game, and we got a glimpse at the trailer as well.
The movie has an impressive cast that includes the likes of Chris Pine, Hugh Grant, and Justice Smith. The fourth season of Stranger Things just wrapped up, and it follows a D&D-focused series.
Honor Among Thieves will be released on March 3rd,23.
