Rumors suggest that the full-size HomePod, 12-inch MacBook, and iMac Pro could come back in the future.

We have heard a lot about potential comebacks for these products and new features, so keep reading for a recap.

HomePod

Apple stopped selling the full-size HomePod in March of 2021.

According to estimates, sales of the speaker were lackluster even after Apple lowered the price.

The speaker has become a collector's item since the full-size version was discontinued.

Mark Gurman claims that Apple is working on a new device with the same chip as the Apple Watch Series 8. Gurman said that the new HomePod would be close to the original one in terms of size and audio performance, as well as having an updated display on top.

The device that Apple is considering releasing is a device that combines an Apple TV, HomePod, and FaceTime camera.

12-inch MacBook

The 12-inch MacBook was discontinued in July of 2019.

The 12-inch MacBook had a thin and light design. The innovative battery design allowed for a larger battery to fit inside the notebook, which was one of the key attributes of the 12-inch MacBook.

The 12-inch MacBook was discontinued because it was underpowered. The original MacBook had a 1.1 GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor, but later models included up to a Core i7 processor, which was a poor match for the thin and light design.

The 12-inch MacBook could make a comeback with Apple's new chips. Mark Gurman reported last month that Apple was considering a 12-inch notebook, but it was not clear if it would be a MacBook, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro.

iMac Pro

The iMac Pro was discontinued. Apple said at the time that the iMac was the preferred choice for most iMac users, and that customers who needed even more performance could choose the Mac Pro. The iMac with the M1 chip is the only one of its kind in the Mac lineup.

The iMac Pro received no significant hardware refresh over its lifetime, which resulted in the iMac becoming faster and more affordable than the standard iMac Pro configuration.

The iMac Pro is rumored to be coming back with Apple chip. A larger iMac or iMac Pro could arrive as early as next year, according to Mark Gurman. The M2 Pro and M2 Max chips could be used to power the computer.
