The company announced as part of its Q1 earnings on Thursday that it had delayed the release of the game from the year 2022. It's a tradition for the properties to be pushed.

The first trailer for a new game was released in 2021, two years after the company first announced it was working on a new game. It is thought that the game would be released this year to coincide with the release of the movie, but we will have to wait until at least 2023 to play it.

The future of the Assassin's Creed brand will be revealed in September, as well as a smaller premium game that was set to be released in 2022. The company will release Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Skull and Bones in October and November, respectively. The company said during Thursday's earnings call that it had canceled several games.

The details of canceled games have been added.
