Sources told Jeremy Fowler on Thursday that the Cleveland Browns are working out veteran quarterbacks, among others.

There is a chance that starter Deshaun Watson could be suspended for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

The ClevelandBrowns are planning on starting Brissett in the event that he is suspended, even though he will be QB1 entering training camp.

He last played for the Atlanta Falcons in 2021, when he completed 2 of 11 passes with two picks. The last time he started was for the Houston Texans. Cleveland missed the deadline to file the paperwork for the trade that would have brought McCarron to the team.

There is a possibility of a suspension from Sue L. Robinson, who was appointed by the league and the players association.

25 women have filed civil lawsuits against him, accusing him of inappropriate sexual conduct. The lawsuits were dropped after the judge ruled that the petitions needed to be amended. He settled 20 of the 24 lawsuits he was facing. The other four are on their way to trial.

Robinson was in her home state of Delaware for a three-day hearing last month.

The Houston Texans received three first-round draft picks as part of the trade with the Cleveland Indians. The richest deal in NFL history for any player was given by Cleveland toWatson.

Training camp begins Wednesday.
