The president of the United States expects to speak with the president of China by the end of the month.

The reasons for the call were not explained. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China did not reply immediately.

The two leaders talked about the invasion of Ukraine. China doesn't want to be called an invasion.

According to a White House transcript, Biden said he would be talking to the Chinese president within 10 days.

The military doesn't think it's a good idea right now, but I don't know what the status of it is

The Financial Times reported this week that Pelosi would be going to Taiwan in August for the first time in 25 years.

If such a trip were to happen, China would take strong and resolute measures.

Beijing considers Taiwan to be part of it's territory. China maintains that it wants peaceful reunification with Taiwan.
