Mac McClung is going to sign with the Golden State Warriors, according to his agent.

He will have the chance to make Golden State's roster out of training camp if he makes the team.

The Warriors summer- league team had McClung on it. He shot 48.6 percent from the floor and 50.0 percent from deep in the five games he played.

His summer-league performance may not be enough to get him a roster spot. Last week, she predicted the same thing.

The Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers played each other in two separate seasons. He spent most of the year with the South Bay Lakers of the G League after appearing in just one game for each team.

McClung played in two NBA games and played in 12.5 minutes per game.

He averaged 21.6 points, 7.6 assists and 6.6 rebound in 27 games to win the G League's rookies of the year award.

He played college basketball for Georgetown and Texas Tech. In his only season with the Red Raiders in 2020-21, he averaged 15.5 points, 2.7 rebound and 2.1 assists, while shooting 41.9 percent from the floor and 34.3 percent from deep.

McClung will have to put together a strong training camp in order to get a roster spot.
