Harden will make $33M for the 2022-2023 season, and has the player option for $35.6M in 2023-2024, sources tell ESPN. He can move right back into free agency next summer and negotiate another new deal. https://t.co/9UM0LArYzH

Harden took a pay cut to help the 76ers sign free agents P.J. Tucker and Danuel House.

The full mid-level exception was used to sign Tucker to a three-year, $33 million deal and the biannual exception was used to sign House to a two-year, $8.4 million deal without exceeding the tax apron.

According to Bobby Marks, his player option in the second year of the deal gives him veto rights over any trade involving him.

Harden, who averaged 18.6 points and 8.6 assists per game, taking just 13.2 attempts per game, after a somewhat disappointing postseason that saw him average 18.6 points and 8.6 assists per game, taking just 12.2 attempts per game, will have another chance to reestablish his market value this upcoming

It was explained to me how we could improve and what the market value was for certain players. Harden told Haynes on Sunday that he told Daryl to improve the roster, sign who they needed to sign, and give him whatever he wanted. I want to lose. I would like to compete for a title. At this point, that is all that matters to me. I would be willing to take less to make that happen.
