Random Covid-19 testing is compulsory for travelers entering Canada at the country's four major airports.

Random testing of arriving airline passengers was stopped on June 11 but resumed on July 19 outside the airports.

Travelers who are selected for random testing will be notified by email within 15 minutes. They can use the email to find a testing provider in their area.

Travelers have to stay away from each other for 10 days if the test results are positive.

Travelers to Canada still need to use the ArriveCAN mobile app or website to provide proof of vaccinations. Before boarding a cruise ship bound for Canada, the information must be submitted.

Travelers must have had a primary series of the Covid-19 vaccine accepted by the government of Canada for the purpose of travel at least 14 days before entering the country in order to be fully vaccined.

Travelers to Canada who are unvaccinated have to take a Covid test on the first and eighth days of their stay.
