Changes for home games could be on the way.

The naming rights to Paul Brown Stadium are up for sale. The team wants to have a new name in place by the start of the regular season in order to get the necessary approvals from the city and county.

The Pittsburgh Steelers recently sold its naming rights to Acrisure. The Packers and Bears are the only teams in the league that do not have naming rights deals for their stadiums.

There is a need for a new deal. Paul Brown Stadium needs $500 million in renovations according to a recent study. The total cost wouldn't be covered by a naming rights deal, but it would give more revenue to the cause.

The name of the stadium was named after the founder of the team. Alper said that a renaming of the stadium wouldn't happen if the naming rights were sold. The Kansas City Chiefs renamed their home to GEHA Field after he raised the idea of selling the naming rights to the field.

They were defeated by the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl, but are back in action. Cincinnati is expected to once again be one of the top teams in the conference with star quarterback Joe Burrow.
