The first official trailer for "House of the Dragon" was released by HBO Max.

George R.R. Martin's book "Fire and Blood" is the basis of the show. Two centuries before the War of the Five Kings, the Dance of Dragons will take center stage in the series as family members of House Targaryen fight for the Iron Throne.

There is a lot of swordplay and dragons in the trailer.

Emma D'Arcy will play Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith will play Prince Daemon Targaryen, and Steve Toussaint will play Lord Corlys Vel.

Vince and Martin will produce together. Ryan Condal is one of the show runners.

The new series will have an augmented reality app. Fans will be able to raise their own virtual dragon with the DracARys app. Someone doesn't want to relive the GoT-style.
