Deshaun Watson

There is a rumor going around that Judge Sue L. Robinson is going to suspend Deshaun for between two and eight games for violating the league's personal conduct policy. Earlier reports suggested that the league was asking for a full-season suspension, after which the players' union announced their intention to file a lawsuit.

There were at least two and eight games for the allegations. Calvin Ridley had a full season for betting on his team, the Atlanta Falcons, even though he was on the non- football injury list. Brady sat out four games for the scandal. Two to eight games is how many different women come forward in court. If you read the testimonies that are available to the public, you will see that the allegations against Watson are clear, and that they are not being taken seriously.

This isn't set in stone, of course, and if they're unhappy with the decision, the NFL can appeal it straight to the top. It could end up working out for the best in this case. While he is dealing with the backlash of the Washington Commanders investigation and the threat of an NFLPA lawsuit hanging over his head, he may shy away from harsher punishment.

The league hasn't responded to questions about whether they'll investigate the Houston Texans organization after they settled 30 civil suits with women who said they had been sexually harassed. After he became aware of the allegations, the director of security provided non-disclosure agreements. The quarterback has kept his innocence.
