Hello Games has announced a new update for No Man's Sky. The large ships in the game that can be used as a mobile base of operations are the focus of the new update. The game has been updated 20 times since it was first released.
Improvements coming with this major update include a new ship bridge that gives instant access to warping and Teleportation to navigate the game's universe. Bigger freighters with exterior sections can be built, as well as with new plant growing and manufacturing features, and the ships can now analyze planets from space More objective-based tasks are offered by new expedition and combat focused missions.
Improvements to the broader universe are included in Endurance. There are new black holes and asteroids that can be seen across the universe.
No Man's Sky's last major update, Outlaws, which included a variety of crime-themed activities, was released a few months ago. The game is almost completely different from what it was six years ago.
No Man's Sky is available on a number of platforms. There will be a release on the Switch in October, as well as a Mac and iPad version later this year.
