Alaska Airlines flight 1080 from Washington Dulles to San Francisco suffered a delay on Monday after the plane’s pilot and co-pilot got into an argument – and the captain walked off the aircraft. The Captain actually announced to passengers that he wasn’t getting along with his co-worker.

The flight was delayed for a couple of hours as the airline looked for a new pilot for the A320. When the replacement pilot arrived, he received a standing applause. The flight was delayed by 3 hours but made up half an hour in the air.
The captain was right to leave because of the crew's insubordinate behavior. The decision was made in the interest of safety, he said. He should leave the plane if he couldn't operate it safely because of his temper. The passenger said the pilot wasfuming.
