Outrageous is considered to be very bold and unusual. A 100,000 point offer from a rewards credit card is very rare.

Marriott's latest limited time credit card offer is simply outrageous, with 250,000 points in value up for grabs from a single "boundless" card.

Five Free Nights Worth 50,000 Points Each

Marriott has a limited time offer on its Bonvoy Boundless credit card. The bonus is due to end on July 21st.

Unlike the typical card offers which bring between 30,000 to 100,000 points as a welcome bonus with an annual free night, this outrageous new limited time card offer brings five free nights, each worth up to 50,000 points, after 3 months of signing on to the card.

Each night is worth up to 50,000 points.

This may be the first and only time a US rewards credit card has offered 100,000 points as an initial welcome bonus, which makes the fact that the card has only a 95 annual fee all the more surprising.

Since members can top off their rewards with more points, they are even more appealing for luxury travel. You can add some of your own points if you want to top off the free night awards.

All Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card holders get instant Silver Status with Marriott Bonvoy, 6X points on Marriott purchases and 2X on everything else, as well as an annual free night worth up to 35,000 points for every year they keep the card.

You can add 5 free nights for up to 50,000 points.

What 50,000 Marriott Points Per Night Gets You

It is difficult to know what 50,000 points can do for you if you are not a regular player. It is time to change that.

The cost in points can vary from night to night for a hotel. The cost of a basic hotel will be around 10,000 points, whereas the cost of an over-the-top luxury hotel can be as high as 130,000 points.

If you have 50,000 points, you can book an off peak night at a Ritz Carlton in a major US city, or a five star hotel in Europe, Asia, South America and beyond.

With travel demand driving cash prices higher, being able to use points is better than ever.

Renaissance St. Pancras Chambers Suite

50,000 points is enough for a hotel to cost hundreds of dollars per night in some places. One example is the luxurious W Aspen in London.

The Renaissance St. Pancras is a five star hotel with great food and a great location. It is not uncommon to turn 50,000 points into a room for $450 per night with these free night certificates.

Not including the silver elite status and the annual free night you can earn, you would get an introductory bonus of at least $2250 from the card.

Every year, the card pays for itself with a free night worth 35,000 points, and the elite status, with an annual fee of just $95.

You can't just have a quarter of a million points. Five certificates worth 50,000 points are used for the structure of the bonus. You can use your own points to top the 50,000 points off for higher value hotels.

The St. Regis Langkawi in Malaysia

If you get the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card, you'll get 250,000 points. It is hard to imagine anyone not benefiting from having five free nights at top hotels all over the world.

Anyone who received a welcome bonus from a Marriott Bonvoy card within the last 24 months is not eligible for the bonus.

This is a great chance to bring $100's in potential value for travel now or later. It is a lot easier to dream with a lot of points. There's more here.
