Nottingham Forest are in talks with Jesse Lingard's representatives about signing him.
Lingard was thought to be going to West Ham. They have a proposal as well.
Lingard has offers from all over the world, and is expected to make a decision soon.
His contract at Manchester United expired on June 30.
Lingard scored nine goals and recorded five assists for West Ham during a successful loan spell. He scored 35 goals while playing for Manchester United.
West ham's first signing of the summer window was defender, who joined from Rennes for £30m, and they also activated an option to buy goalkeeper, who played for Paris Saint-Germain last season.

Forest will open their season with a trip to Newcastle on August 6.
