Alex To, co-head of Bank of America Corp.'s investment banking for Asia Pacific, has left to pursue other opportunities.
The people said that To, based in Hong Kong, recently resigned from the bank. He was a co-head of investment banking.
A representative for Bank of America wouldn't say anything. Reached for comment, To couldn't.
He was named co-head of Asia Pacific investment banking at Bank of America in the year after he was hired. Morgan Stanley had a chairman in China at the time. He worked in the consumer and retail industries in China.
In the region, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank is catching up to its competitors. Guenthardt said in an interview that the lender increased the number of large fee events last year.
