The longest moon shot in Major League Baseball is a 478-foot blast by Giancarlo Stanton, and the longest home run in the game is a 423-foot blast by the same player. The song is called "1:00."

The American League won its ninth straight All-Star game and 21st in a row on Tuesday night in the first All-Star game to be played at Dodger Stadium.

The game was tied in the fourth when the Los Angeles Dodgers' Tony Gonsolin gave up two home runs to two different players, datememe datememe datememe datememe. They were not cheated with their swings. The longest home run hit at Dodger Stadium in the first half of the season was a 465-foot blast by Hanley Ramirez. There have been seven times in All-Star history when back-to-back home runs have been hit.

In his first All-Star appearance since the New York Yankees acquired him from the Miami Marlins, he won the Most Valuable Player award with his first hit.

There are five players who have won league Most Valuable Player, Home Run Derby, and All-Star Game awards. It's the third time that a Yankees player has won the All-Star game's Most Valuable Player award.

While his Yankees career has been up and down, he has 24 home runs at the break, a key part of a deep Yankees team that has a chance to beat the franchise record.

It was a great honor to return to Sherman Oaks where he attended Notre Dame High School.

I would try to get as many tickets as possible. He said hitting one out there is incredible.

One of the tickets he gave out was for his father.

He said that his pops took him to his first Dodgers game and showed him how to love the game.

The on-deck circle was where the home run was hit.

One of the hardest balls I've seen hit from the on-deck circle was that. I'm not sure if you can say how hard he hit the baseball. "For me to see him in person, be on the same team, finally be up close, it was like a dream come true." I actually sat down. He was able to destroy that.

He thought as he stepped to the plate that he wasn't going to match that.

He was close to the finish line.

The Yankees pitcher said he will sometimes stand at the infield during batting practice.

It's difficult to react to balls hit to you. It's amazing how hard, how loud, how far the ball goes when the two guys connect.

Only four times in All-Star history has a team gone at least 20 at-bats without a hit.

In his All-Star debut, Clase struck out Cooper on three pitches, fanning Schwarber on three throws and then blowing a 99-mph cutter past Cronenworth, but he couldn't get the job done.

The chance to see the nine-time All-Star start an All-Star Game for the first time in his storied career was the most important thing for Dodgers fans in attendance. He picked Ohtani off at first base after allowing a leadoff single to the Japanese pitcher.

"I usually don't do that at the beginning, but I tried to take a minute at the beginning to take in everything," he said. Being at Dodger Stadium, a place where I've been for 15 years, to be able to play with the best in the world is really fun. It was very personal for my family and I. I'm looking forward to it ending. I didn't do bad. I got out of there without running.

Ohtani told TV viewers as he stepped up to bat that he would swing at the first pitch, and he did, lining a pitch for a single to center field.

It's not possible to throw the first pitch of an All-Star Game as a breaking ball. It was a victory because he didn't hit it over the fence. I think you had to give him a warm place to stay. Couldn't have done it.

The pitcher picked off Ohtani as he faced Judge.

"I threw it over there, I guess," he said. I gave myself a second to think about what I was going to do and I got him.

Major League Baseball added two legacy All-Stars this year.

Pujols is fifth on the all-time home run list, and he is playing his final season, returning to the St. Louis Cards after 10 seasons with the Los Angeles Angels and the Dodgers. The crowd cheered when he pinch hit in the fourth and hit a fly ball to left, but the ball was caught in front of the warning track.

With his 3000th career hit in April, the two-time Most Valuable Player became just the seventh player in baseball history with both 3,000 hits and 500 home runs, and one of only two with a.300 career average. He got into the game in the fifth and grounded out.

In the bottom of the first, Ronald Acuna Jr. led off with a double and Mookie Betts followed with a two-run home run to give the National League a 2-0 lead.
