Trump urged Wisconsin Assembly speaker in July to decertify Biden 2020 election win

In a new interview, Vos said that Donald Trump called him and urged him to decertify Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 election.

The Republican lawmaker said in the same interview that Trump posted a message on Truth Social, his social media platform, calling on the Wisconsin legislature to "turn over the election to the actual winner"

Vos has said many times that the legislature does not have the authority to change the votes of the electors.

One of those Republicans, Timothy Ramthun, submitted a resolution to the state legislature.

In Wisconsin, Biden beat Trump by a margin of less than 20,000 votes.

Two days before the public hearing of the U.S. House select committee, Vos gave an interview.

Trump claimed for weeks that he had won the 2020 election, and that Biden had won because of ballot fraud. Biden was certified as the winner of the Electoral College by a joint session of Congress.

Biden won the Electoral College by a large margin.

Evidence and testimony is being collected by a special grand jury in Georgia, which is investigating whether Trump and his allies committed crimes in their attempt to get officials in Georgia to overturn Biden's win.

The use of drop-off boxes for Absentee Ballots was banned by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The ruling states that the ballots must either be mailed in or delivered to the election office.

There is no evidence to support Trump's claim that drop boxes were used to swing the election.

After speaking with Vos, Trump posted a message on Truth Social that said the speaker was a "long time professional RINO" and that he would not be doing anything about the Supreme Court decision.
