Nate Diaz vs. Khamzat Chimaev Bout Verbally Agreed to for UFC 279 Fight Card

The UFC will hold a fight in Las Vegas in September.

Chimaev has six knockouts and four submission victories. At UFC 273, Gilbert Burns was defeated by unanimous decision. Chimaev is considered a contender for the UFC title.

There is a 20-13 lifetime record for the man. At UFC 263 in June 2021, he was defeated by LeonEdwards in a unanimous decision. He has won over Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone.
