The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction arm posted a picture of a weather pattern on Sunday. The satellite imagery bore a striking resemblance to the masked members of the fictional crime fighting turtle clan.
There was a lot of comical fan fiction on the social networking site. Donatello thought Michelangelo had messed with the weather machine he invented.
The reptile in question seemed to melt later on.
