The Delaware court ruled today that the lawsuit between the two companies will be heard in October. This is a win for the social media company.

In April, Musk agreed to buy the micro-messaging service for $44 billion. He claimed that he could not do due diligence on the company he was going to acquire. The agreement was terminated by him. He was held to the purchase by the social media company.

Musk's bot arguments were bad-faith attempts to back out of the deal due to a case of buyer's remorse. Musk asked for February, instead of September. The trial will be shorter than the one Musk had requested. Dates haven't been scheduled yet.
