Boeing and ANA HOLDINGS, the parent company of All Nippon Airways, finalized an order for 20 Boeing737 MAX 8 jets with 10 options at the Farnborough International Airshow. Two of ANA's passenger aircraft orders were converted to the new plane. The first carrier in Asia to choose the 777-8 freighter was ANA. The order was previously listed as unknown on Boeing's website.
The additional 787-9 jets were ordered by AerCap.
Peter Anderson, Chief Commercial Officer of AerCap, said that they are very pleased to strengthen that position with this order for five additional aircraft.
AerCap has 125 787s in it's portfolio.
The Aviation Capital Group has placed an order for more than one plane. On Boeing's website, the order was not known.
The order book will be expanded to 34 airplanes by the announcement today.
The lessor is growing its Boeing Converted Freighter fleet with a firm order for nine more. Demand for the single-aisle freighter continues to be strong, as evidenced by the agreement.
The first customer to take delivery of a conversion at the new line will beBBAM. A year ago, Boeing said it would open two conversion lines at KF.
The 737-800BCF carries more cargo and flies farther than the Classic freighter.
Porter Airlines has placed an additional 20 firm orders for the E195-E2 passenger jets. Porter has ordered up to 100 E195-E2 aircraft with 50 firm commitments and 50 purchase rights.
Porter Airlines will be the launch customer for the E2 jet. Porter plans to deploy the E195-E2s to popular destinations in Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
The entry into service of Porter is scheduled to start in the second half of the 20th century. Between 120 and 146 passengers can be accommodated by the E195-E2 Plans for Porter's E2s will be revealed in the near future.
Alaska Air Group has an order of eight new E175 jets and options for 13 more. The E175 aircraft will only be used for Alaska Airlines under theCPA. Based on the list price, the contract is worth over $1 billion. The new 76 seat aircraft will be delivered in Alaska's livery and three class configuration over the next four years.
The decision to move to a single fleet of E175 jets was made earlier this year. The carrier flies a mix of Bombardier Q400 and E175 aircraft.
Delta has firmed up orders for 12 A220-300 aircraft, bringing the total number of aircraft they have ordered to over 100. The A 220s will be powered by GTF engines
The first US carrier to operate the aircraft type was Delta. At the end of June 2022, Delta had a fleet of 388 aircraft, of which 258 were A320 Family aircraft, 57 A330s and 26 A350-900 aircraft.
Delta and Boeing announced an order for 100 Boeing MAX 10 aircraft.
A letter of intent has been signed for up to 36 planes.
