The Duolingo owl wants to teach you even more of Game of Thrones’ High Valyrian

If you want to catch up on your High Valyrian before the premiere of House of the Dragon, you need to watch all of Game of Throne. Surely, some will try, but for those looking for a less time consuming way of learning the fictional language or refreshing their skills, there's an alternative.

The High Valyrian course is being expanded just in time for House of the Dragon. Over 700 new sentences related to House of the Dragon have been added to the High Valyrian course by the company.

In House of the Dragon, the language is still alive and well in the time before House Targaryen fell, unlike in Game ofThrones, where the language was dead. While High Valyrian was present in a number of pivotal moments in Game ofThrones, he hopes that the language will be expanded even further in House of the Dragon.

House of the Dragon isn't set to premiere until August 21st, but that doesn't mean you have to wait that long.
